Terms and Conditions



Prices are list public prices. All duties, taxes, and brokerage are included in the public price. Local taxes, assembly, and installation are not included. All prices are subject to change without notice, at any time prior to our written confirmation of the order.


Prices remain valid for a period of thirty (30) days from written quotation or order confirmation.


a) All orders must be pre-paid unless other terms have been extended.

b) Must be submitted in writing to a PARACHILNA office via email or fax only. A $250 net minimum order is required. A $100 processing fee for orders that do not meet the minimum is trequired. Spare parts orders are excluded from this fee.

c) The confirmation shall state the approximate date of shipment of the order if not in stock.

d) We will ship and invoice products as ready unless otherwise notified in writing.

e) PARACHILNA reserves the right to accept or reject an order for any reason.

f) All orders requiring custom finishes and/or custom modifications require a 50% non-refundable deposit.

g) All orders of standard products in excess of $10,000 list value require a 50% deposit, with cancellation subject to restocking charges.

h) Please consult factory on lead time and availability of custom orders.


Once an order is confirmed by PARACHILNA it cannot be changed or cancelled without PARACHILNA’s written consent. The buyer may not cancel or change a special order if PARACHILNA has commenced production. A restocking fee or a change order fee may apply.


a) All invoices are to be paid to LightForm Canada Inc. All sales are made on a cash basis unless credit is extended.

b) PARACHILNA may extend credit if, in the company’s sole opinion, the buyer meets its credit standards based on a review of up-to-date financial information.

c) If credit is extended, the terms of payment are thirty (30) days net from the date of the invoice.

d) Interest at a rate of 2.0% per month will be charged on all overdue amounts.

e) Payments sent by cheque should be mailed to 10545 124 St. Edmonton, AB T5N 1R8.


a) Unless otherwise requested by the buyer, PARACHILNA will ship by the method of shipping it deems satisfactory based upon convenience, experience, and cost. All shipments are FOB from PARACHILNA’s warehouse.

b) PARACHILNA reserves the right to make partial shipments of the buyers’ order and to invoice the buyer for only the portion of the order shipped.


a) All freight charges quoted on orders carry a handling charge for packaging and prepayment.

b) The minimum freight charge is $50.

c) Freight damages must be reported within 48 hours.


Orders requesting to be expedited with a guaranteed shipping of less than five (5) business days are subject to a $150 rush fee, stock levels permitting. 


a) PARACHILNA warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of delivery. During this warranty period, PARACHILNA will repair or replace, at its option, products that are proven to be defective. This warranty does not apply to damages resulting from accident, alteration, tampering, misuse, negligence, or abuse.

b) This warranty does not apply to light bulbs, which are not products manufactured by PARACHILNA and if supplied, are supplied by PARACHILNA only as an accommodation.

c) If PARACHILNA furnished you with advice or other assistance concerning the products, the furnishing of such advice shall not subject the company to any liability, whether it be contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), or otherwise.


a) In the event that products are defective when delivered, the buyer must notify PARACHILNA in writing within two (2) days of the date of delivery. If a defect occurs within the warranty period, the buyer must notify PARACHILNA in writing not later than one year from the date of delivery

b) If PARACHILNA inspection supports the claim that the product is defective, PARACHILNA’s liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product only. In no event shall PARACHILNA be liable for any incidental or consequential damages including, without limitation, damage to other property and equipment, loss of profits or compensation for services. 


a) All sales are final. Authorized returns will carry a minimum restocking charge of up to 50% of the retail price.

b) Authorized returns will carry a minimum restocking charge of 25%.

c) If a freight claim cannot be made by PARACHILNA due to unsatisfactory packaging, the buyer will be charged for repair and/or replacement of the fixtures.

d) Specially discounted products and specially ordered products may not be returned.

e) Special-order items that are not standard stock items will carry a minimum restocking fee of 50%.

f) Your refund credit will be issued after the item has been returned and inspected.

g) The cost of the return shipping will be deducted from the credit amount. In other words, you are responsible for the return shipping cost of any item you return.

h) Any expedited shipping charges you paid on the original order are non-refundable.


We cannot accept returns of:

  • Products that have been clearly identified as non-returnable on the product details page.
  • Products that have been installed or assembled.
  • Products that are not in the original condition and packaging.
  • Products that are made-to-order, custom, or special order to your specifications.
  • Light bulbs.
  • Large quantities of the same product (6 or more).

All third-party shipments or customer drop shipments will be charged a $35 surcharge.


Lamps are not included with product unless otherwise noted. If lamping has been provided by the manufacturer as a convenience, it is not included in the product warranty. This does not apply to products with integrated LED lamping.
